The Epic Journey challenges participants whether it is backpacking a slot canyon in the Southwest, descending into the Grand Canyon, kayaking in baja, surfing in San Diego, mountain biking in the Tucson area or biking through Death Valley. If the journey is longer than 1 day, most of the day is spent in physical activity. In all but the backpacking adventures, in the evenings we often will be dining at great restaurants, receiving massage treatments and relaxing.
